A space for Remembrance and truth-seeking, established through the efforts of citizens and activists
Established on 29 December 2022, with the help of citizens and activists, The Jeonju Memorial Altar has become a memorial space for bereaved families and a symbolic site for efforts to uncover the truth about the disaster.
It is operated primarily by the Jeonbuk Civil Society Countermeasures Committee and the bereaved families of the ten victims from the Jeonbuk region.
